  • Summertime Heeled Sandals

This style of heeled sandals became popular last year with the infamous black pair of Zara sandals that everyone and their very stylish mother was wearing! The minimal and very ladylike sandals aren’t going anywhere this Summer either. You can find heeled sandals almost everywhere, including ASOS, TopShop, River Island and H&M.

I bought the ASOS Hollywood heeled sandals but found them impossible to walk in due to how they arched my foot. I almost had to bend my knees to be able to walk in them and no one wants that!! Sadly, I had to return them and had been on the hunt for a replacement pair ever since!

    Primark Heeled Sandals

I had been lusting after a black Primark pair after seeing their Spring/Summer campaign photos. Finally I found one lonely pair in store in my size and I snatched them up.

These aren’t the most comfortable, but a few more hoovering sessions wearing these and they’ll hopefully be more comfortable. Haha am I the only one who does that – wears heels around the house until they’re comfortable enough to go out in?? I wouldn’t wear these to something where I’d be doing a lot of walking, but for a lunch date or dinner these would look great. For only £12, I can’t complain about these beauties!

    Zara Heeled Sandals

I then picked up two pairs of heeled sandals from Zara. The black and gold pair were only £29.99 and look so glam. They dress up any outfit and are surprisingly comfortable! I wore these to a masquerade ball and was on the dance floor all night. After a couple hours of dancing and a few glasses of champagne, my head started hurting before my feet did! The band at the front is quite thin so does show quite a bit of toe.

The black and white pair however only shows the tips of your toes, which I prefer, but are not as comfortable. Again, I find these best suited for lunch and dinner dates where I don’t have to walk much. At £39.99 it is a bit disappointing that I am limited to when I can wear them, especially as they were so comfortable when I first put them on. However, they look so good on I think I can ignore the discomfort and higher price tag just this once.

I really want to pick up more of these sandals in different colours as I love how they look with different outfits. What shoes are you liking at the moment? Do you have any in this style?

These look lovely, but unfortunately I don’t think they would accommodate my wide feet!

I have wide-ish feet too and these are fine for me. I’d say it’s worth trying them on to see how they fit you! :) x

I searched everywhere last summer and finally found a simple pair of blank sandals in Primark. I love this years version, at £12 may need to get them too

The heels look gorgeous! Zara do some lovely shoes, yes, very simplistic but chic too. Have noticed that Primark are doing Zara-esque shoes lately!

These are so so gorgeous and I’ve been looking at these shoes for a long time, but I’ve got a really tiny little toe compared to my average sized ones and I just know it will pop out the sides! Such a shame I bet these would look gorgeous with skinny high waisted jeans!

Oh no, I’d say it’s worth trying them on just to see though. They all fit so differently, the strap at the front is different on all of them x

Love the look of these sandles.. so tempted by the Zara ones, but although they have the ankle strap, with open toe shoes I’m always conscious my feet will slip out the front! haha we’ll see, I’ll probs give into the urge and buy!
