Review: Infused Water with Aqua Zinger & Citrus Zinger

I’m sure you already know or are at least aware of the fact that we should drink a lot of water each day. Around 8 cups is recommended but I aim for more when you add in the cups of green & peppermint teas that I drink. I personally love the taste of water, but I know a lot of people who struggle to drink it because they don’t like the taste. If you are one of them, fear not my friend, I have something which just might be the solution!

Citrus Zinger and Aqua Zinger are water bottles that allow you to add fruits and herbs in a separate compartment so that the flavours slowly infuse into the water. The two zingers are designed to ‘zing’ your water with different fruits. Citrus Zinger gives it away in the name, it is designed for citrus fruits like lemons, limes and oranges and is a great way to get the benefits of lemon water and vitamin C. I personally love the Citrus Zinger because when I make lemon water by slicing fresh lemon and dropping it in a cup of water, I find that before I can finish the cup it tastes far too strong and I can barely drink it. With the Citrus Zinger, it slowly infuses so that it doesn’t taste too strong!

The Aqua Zinger is designed to let you infuse your water with all sorts of fruits; from berries to kiwis to peaches to cucumbers, even ginger, mint and basil. For my first time trying out the Aqua Zinger I chose to use blueberries, strawberries and fresh mint leaves. Let me tell you, my water was delicious! Perfectly infused with the right amount of flavour, even when I refilled the Aqua Zinger.

If you’re a lover of water or a hater, I think the Citrus and Aqua Zingers will suit you all. I love water, but sometimes, it’s nice to have something different. Besides, infusing water has a whole host of benefits which I’ll get into in another post, but I’m sure you’ve heard about “detox waters” already, which are waters infused with fruits. I love the Zingers and now use them all the time, I keep the Aqua Zinger on my desk at work and the Citrus Zinger at home so that I can drink my lemon water in the mornings. It’s so handy!

Let me know what fruit combinations of ingredients you’ve tried for infusing water.

Lemon water is so good for you but putting fresh lemon in water can sometimes taste too strong. This gets it just right :) x

I have an Aqua Zinger, and I love it! I haven’t tried this combo, though. I’ll have to give it a try!

I love water but I love the concept of these. A nice cold large glass of lemon water is a morning staple for me!

I agree! I love a glass of lemon water in the mornings, but find sometimes it gets too strong if I don’t drink it quick enough. This was great for that, perfectly flavoured the whole time :) x
