I’ve become obsessed with wanting to clear out my whole wardrobe, overhaul my style and create a minimal wardrobe lately. I’ve chosen a black, white and nude colour palette with a few key pops of colour for my ‘new style’. This extends to my fitness fashion sense and workout wardrobe too.
I’m loving mesh detailing and sheer panels in workout clothes at the moment and there is plenty around. Sweaty Betty have just brought out some beautiful strappy bras so I’ve chosen tops that will show them off. I always wear black leggings due to my pear-shaped figure, but I love these dark patterned and sheer-panelled leggings.
In August I’m setting myself the goal of clearing out my wardrobe. I need to rid of all those pieces that do not fit, I never wear and have just simply had their day. I’m determined to create either a capsule or minimal wardrobe and avoid having too many clothes that I just won’t wear. Instead of cluttering my wardrobe again, I’ll focus on investing in key pieces.
With so many fitness fashion brands out there now, it’s easy to find high quality pieces that will perform for your workouts and stand the test of time. I’ve learnt it’s not always best to buy budget workout clothes as they can be either see-through, ill-fitting or aren’t as sweat-wicking. As it’s payday week, these are the higher-priced items I’ve been lusting after. They are all from fitness fashion brands I trust and are worth investing in.
