I love a smoothie. They’re quick, portable, delicious and most importantly, nutritious. I can blend together ingredients I wouldn’t normally eat (spirulina anyone?), but pack a punch in vitamins, nutrients and health benefits. This recipe comes out a browny colour due to the chocolate protein powder, so is perfect for anyone weary of drinking a green smoothie. Double up the ingredients and share the love. I hope you enjoy!
Coconut Water Green Smoothie
- 70 g Spinach
- 100 ml Vita Coco Coconut Water
- 1 scoop USN Diet Fuel Ultralean Chocolate Protein Powder
- 1 Banana
- 1 tbsp Almond Butter
- 1 tbsp Milled Flaxseed
- 1 tbsp Desiccated Coconut
- 1/2 tbsp Chia Seeds
- 1 tsp Maca Powder
- Add all the ingredients to your blender or smoothie maker and blend until smooth – that’s it!
- Pour into a jar or cup and add a straw to serve.
Sounds delicious with an extra serving of healthy.

This recipe looks really good – the addition of protein powder and flaxseed make it a pretty good health booster too. I normally add a tablespoon of maca to my cocoa morning smoothie as I quite like its caramel-like taste!
