New Year, New Goals

Happy New Year everyone! So, it’s 2013 and I’m sure a lot of you have or are thinking about setting New Year goals or resolutions for yourselves. I like to see the new year as a fresh start to clear your mind and focus on making the most of what’s ahead. This year I wanted to focus on the new and I am going to share my goals with you.

1. New Blog

I’ve been wanting to start a blog for a while now, but I haven’t managed to find the time to or settle on a name I was happy with. This year I am going to actively blog about fitness, fashion, food and beauty. I want to lose weight, tone up, build muscle, improve my wardrobe, eat healthily consistently and improve my make up skills! Quite a lot to do, but I’ll be blogging about it all to keep me on track.

2. New Workout

I want to start a 12 week workout program that requires me to workout regularly every week. I previously haven’t managed to stick at a workout program or workout consistently for 12 weeks before, but as I said I’m focusing on the new. I can do this and I really want to do this! I’m not going to tell you what program I’ll be following just yet, but I’ll be doing a post on that, as well as posting everyday about my progress.

3. New Body

The reason for wanting to follow a workout program is that I really want to tone up and trim down my body, as well as get stronger and fitter. I’ve wanted to do this for a long time now, but never really stuck at anything long enough to achieve this. As well as working out I will be eating clean.

4. New Licence
I’ve been having driving lessons for a while now, and I’m close to being ready for my test. I want to focus on passing my tests and getting my driving licence. I already have a car that has just been sitting there in the cold all alone, so I can’t wait to drive it!

5. New Look

I decided that I wanted new hair for the new year so I dyed it really dark brown (pictures to come soon). I’m still not 100% sure about it as it’s very dark, but I’m liking having a change. I’m also considering getting a fringe, but we’ll see about that. Apart from my hair, I really want to come in to my own in terms of fashion and beauty, which is where this blog comes in! I’ll be blogging my loves in fashion & beauty tips and tricks throughout the year and I’m hoping by the end of the year I’ll have refined my style and become skilled with make up.

6. Re(New)ed Friendships

My friends and I have become the worst at meeting up and regularly keeping in touch since we all moved away to different Unis. For this year, we have all agreed to change this. I want to be as close to them as I was in Secondary School & College. This also counts for my parents, since I left home I haven’t been the best at calling them or regularly visiting them. I want to change that this year.

So, those are my New Year goals for 2013. I’ll be blogging my progress and seeing how I’m getting on with them.
